Hi...My name is Becky. I'm 22 years old and married to a wonderful man...But lately, I've been a little testy. First, let me say that I have very irregular periods...meaning I could go months without having one. Second, about 2 months ago, I started having pregnancy symptoms that consisted of the sore nipples and tiredness...Then, about 3 weeks after that, I began cramping really bad, and suddenly started bleeding heavily and the pain intensified. I bled heavily for 7 days straight and the pain lasted about 4-5 days, at which time my hubby lost a lot of sleep because I wasn't sleeping due to the pain. He lost his job on the 4th day of my "miscarriage" (I call it that because of the circumstances and for the simple fact that even when I do have periods, they're not heavy or extremely painful--not like that anyway.) After that stopped, so did the symptoms. About two weeks ago, I noticed my breasts were very sore again. All the symptoms from before--plus some--have returned. Now, instead of just being sore, I'm VERY sore in the breast area, I am not sleeping well at night (but can fall asleep anytime during the day in a little under 5 seconds), I'm dizzy at least once or twice a day, I'm nauseated while I'm trying to go to sleep (which may be why I'm having so much trouble), I have headaches, and I'm extremely irritable. My husband and I have been trying for over a year to have a baby, and have had a lot of disappointments...I'm just wondering if I should spend the money on a at-home test before I spend even MORE money on consulting a doctor? Since he lost his job, he was out of work until the week before last, so we don't have a whole lot of cash to blow right now. Needless to say, the doctor is out of the question at the moment--at least until we're back on our feet. I haven't had a period since my "miscarriage" (Call it what you will, I'm convinced that's what it was)...and I'm really confused...Without having regular periods and hoping for something like this, it's extremely difficult to distinguish REAL symptoms from fake ones. Please help me out some? Thank you for your time.
